  • Exclusive only to SteelStack, there are pockets built into the cartridge that allows the forklift driver to place material onto the cartridge and slide their forklifts out leaving the material in place.

  • Our standard 6’ or 8’ models will ship 3-4 weeks after ordering. Multiple units can be produced within the same lead time, but you will be contacted regarding a specific timeline upon placing your order.

  • Yes! That is why the modular design of our system was created! Start out with a 6’ or 8’ model now, and stack another on top once you have outgrown your first unit! The 6 and 8 footers can mix and match any combination up to 20 feet high (that is just how tall we have determined we should go based on our rigorous safety standards).

  • Freight is something we quote out each opportunity. This is specific to the prospect and their location. The estimate is sent out to the customer within the initial proposal.

    The customer is freight responsible. This means that they pay for freight on top of the cost of the Stack. Stack + Freight.

  • No, we do not offer DP production spot holds. To proceed with a purchase, customers will need to requote the project when they are 4-6 weeks away from making the purchase. It's important to note that our quotes are valid for a period of 2 weeks. Currently, our strategy to ensure competitive pricing involves regularly evaluating the market on a rotating monthly basis, keeping material costs in check. It's worth mentioning that the discussion is ongoing regarding locked-in standard pricing.

  • 3” between cassettes, cassette is 4.6125” tall, and material usually stacks 2.5” before it maxes out the 5,000lb capacity.

  • Overall, there is about .5” width wise and length wise between the pin and material. 5’ x 10’ cassettes are designed to hold 5’ x 10’ sheets. Same for 6 ‘x 12’.

  • We always advise customers to ask suppliers to deliver materials on 4 x 4s or wide plank pallets. This simple step allows for easy sheet transfer to a cassette without the need for extra devices, making it a cost-effective way to cut down on waste and speed up reload times.

  • Each SteelStack Cassette is PE Stamped to safely hold 5,000 of material equating to around 2.5” of solid sheet metal. Depending on your available vertical shop space, you could hold up to 135,000 pounds of sheet with our tallest unit. (20 ft. units hold 27 cassettes). Measure that against your current system to see where we stack up.

Morrison had several local metal fabricators reach out for custom sheet metal storage rack projects.   • With the built-in forklift pockets, you can simply slide the forks under the material stack and pick up your material.

  • Think of SteelStack like a big Lego set. You can start small with a 6’ or 8’ tower and as you grow, you can stack another 6’ or 8’ tower on top of the rack you already have on your floor. These are designed to be modular and scalable.
